Dear Parents/Carers,
Welcome back after what we hope was a wonderful Easter break for you all. Thankfully, for much of the half-term, the weather was kind to us, so we hope you managed to have fun as well as relax with family and friends. It's hard to believe we are entering our final academic term this year. As always, this term will be a very busy one, particularly for the oldest members of our school community in Year 6. These children will be sitting the KS2 national assessments, leaving for their residential trip to the Isle of Wight, beginning to prepare themselves for the transition to secondary school and perform in the end of year school production! Please can we keep the children, parents and staff in our prayers as they head into this very busy term.
100 Book Challenge
A huge thank you to Francesca (Year 2), Isaac (Reception) and the rest of the Richardson Family for their very generous donation of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'Beegu'. These book have now been labeled with your family name in and placed in our School Library for all the children to enjoy.
If other parents would like to donate any other books to help our children in achieving this challenge, then please visit the link below. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Stir Food via Swift Kitchen
As you are all aware, we switched over to a new food provider after the Easter holidays. This has been a huge success and the children seem to be really enjoying the food and new menu! We appreciate there were a few teething issues to begin with, but things are going swimmingly now that things are more settled, so thank you for your cooperation and understanding with this whilst these issues were ironed out.
If possible, do try to order your child's lunches for the week ahead or for the term if possible. There have been a few children who did not have a lunch ordered, which meant that the kitchen could only offer the food they had spare, which may not be to your child's liking. And finally, just a reminder to all parents to cancel your child's order by 9:30am if they are off sick to avoid being charged for it!
Best Wishes
Mrs Lavelle-Murphy & Mrs Alger
