Vocabulary Words:

Roots- soak up water and help the plant stay in place

Stem- moves water and nutrients through the plant

Leaves- use sunlight to make foor for the plant

Flowers- make seeds so new plants can grow

Flowering plant- plants that reproduce by creating flowers or seed

Living Organism- things that can grow, reproduce, and respond to their environment

Reproduce- to create new individuals of the same kind

Germination- the process of a seed becoming a sprout

Photosynthesis- the process where plants use sunlight to create food
