Students will be using the iPad carts during weekly technology classes. We will spend a focus of the school year on basics of typing and beginning to learn proper finger placement in anticipation of moving onto Chromebooks in 4th grade and beyond at St Barts.
We will also continue learning to code via block coding on code.org, with certain grades transitioning into Microsoft Code Maker and using it to begin program applications.
At end of year in 3rd grade we will start transitioning into Google applications in anticipation of the transition to Chromebooks.
We will also continue to add in coding robots to practice coding in real life scanarios.
