I hope all of my first-grade families had a wonderful weekend. I cannot believe that May is here already. This month will fly by, with so many activities in addition to student learning. The class trip went well. Everyone enjoyed their time at the aquarium.

MAP testing will be Reading 5/4 and 5/5, and Math 5/6
There will be a Spelling Test on Thursday, May 7, and a Topic 9 Math Test on Friday, May 8.
Please complete 20 minutes of IXL Map. The minimum is 80 minutes per week. Keep practicing so scores improve this week..
Please send students in with appropriate outerwear for recess.

Your student should bring one healthy NUT-FREE snack each day, a reusable water bottle (disposable and squirt-type bottles are not permitted this year), and lunch on full days. Please be sure to include all utensils, napkins, etc., that your child will need. Beverages other than water may be consumed only in the cafeteria.
