Dear First Grade Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

 I hope all of my first-grade families had a wonderful weekend. 

• This week, the students will be taking their second round of MAP Testing; please ensure that your child has a good night's sleep and a good breakfast. 

• We will have our Topic 13 Math Test on Thursday, February 5th. 

• Next week, we will have a Phonics Test on Wednesday, February 11th, and a Spelling Test on Friday, February 13th.

The class will take the MAP test during the first two weeks of February. Please continue to use IXL at home to help boost your child's confidence and scores. Our tentative MAP Test schedule has changed unexpectedly. We will now be testing on Monday, February 2nd (Reading) and Tuesday, February 3rd (Math). I apologize for the last-minute notice.
