Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Week of 11/10/2025

The change spree is still on-going. Help 2nd grade win! Please donate if you can. It is for a great cause that will benefit those in need. If you have not signed up for a Parent/ Teacher Conference slot, please sign. I will start conferences earlier in the week for your convenience.

Monday, 11/10/25:  

Tuesday, 11/11/25:

Wednesday, 11/12/25: We will have Gym today. Children should be in their gym uniforms.  

Thursday, 11/13/25: We will have Library today. Please return all library books.  

Friday, 11/14/25:    Spelling Test and Saxon Assessment. We will be going to Church today. Formal uniforms are required.  Today is also 11:30am dismissal. The Basket Raffle is tonight at 7pm.

• Green folders are to be brought to school each day.  This is how the children will bring home important papers and work. Please clean the folders out each day. 

• Please be sure to notify me of any changes to dismissal. You can reach out by email (afornarelli@stbartseb.com) or by sending a message on class dojo. 

• St. Bart's is a nut free school. Please read all labels to be sure all snacks and lunch items are nut-free.  The ingredients of some favorite snacks have changed. Please read all labels. Only water is allowed at snack time. Disposable water bottles are not permitted.  All other beverages can be consumed during lunch time. 

**The front office has asked that children come to school with raincoats fitted with a hood instead of an umbrella on rainy days.  This will help minimize issues at dismissal. **

11/20-11/21- Half Day Dismissal 11:30 am - Parent Teacher Conferences

11/25- 2nd grade Charlie Brown Friendsgiving (More info to follow)

11/26- Early Dismissal 11:30 am - Thanksgiving Break begins. NO AFTERCARE TODAY

11/27-11/28- No School - Thanksgiving Break 

*** Save the date! International Night will be held on 1/28/26 this year. It will be from 6-8pm. ***
