 Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Updates for the week of 9/14-9/18

Monday, 9/14: 

Tuesday, 9/15: We will have our first Saxon Assessment. 

Wednesday, 9/16: We will have gym. Please be sure the children are in their gym uniforms. 

Thursday, 9/17: Library begins. Back to School Night:

* 6pm -6:30PM cafeteria for Specials and clubs. You can also purchase Smencils for your child.

                                     *6:30PM church

                                      *7:00-7:30PM session 1 in classrooms and Middle School to cafeteria 

                                      *7:30-8:00PM - session 2

Friday, 9/18: NO SCHOOL- Teacher Spirituality Day. 

• Green folders are to be brought to school each day.  This is how the children will bring home important papers and work. Please clean the folders out each day. 

• Please be sure to notify me of any changes to dismissal. You can reach out by email (afornarelli@stbartseb.com) or by sending a message on class dojo. 

• St. Bart's is a nut free school. Please read all labels to be sure all snacks and lunch items are nut-free.  The ingredients of some favorite snacks have changed. Please read all labels. Only water is allowed at snack time. Disposable water bottles are not permitted.  All other beverages can be consumed during lunch time. 

**The front office has asked that children come to school with raincoats fitted with a hood instead of an umbrella on rainy days.  This will help minimize issues at dismissal. **
