 Welcome to 2nd Grade!

Updates for the week of 9/7-9/11

Monday, 9/7: NO SCHOOL -- Labor Day 

Tuesday, 9/8: First full day of classes. Specials start.

Wednesday, 9/9: We will have gym. Please be sure the children are in their gym uniforms. 

Thursday, 9/10: 

Friday, 9/11: We will have our first school Mass. Formal uniforms are reqired. Shorts are not part of the formal uniform. Please see the handbook on the school website for the proper uniform. 

• Green folders are to be brought to school each day.  This is how the children will bring home important papers and work. Please clean the folders out each day. 

• Please be sure to notify me of any changes to dismissal. You can reach out by email (afornarelli@stbartseb.com) or by sending a message on class dojo. 

• St. Bart's is a nut free school. Please read all labels to be sure all snacks and lunch items are nut-free.  The ingredients of some favorite snacks have changed. Please read all labels. Only water is allowed at snack time. Disposable water bottles are not permitted.  All other beverages can be consumed during lunch time. 

**The front office has asked that children come to school with raincoats fitted with a hood instead of an umbrella on rainy days.  This will help minimize issues at dismissal. **

9/18 - NO SCHOOL
