 Youth Program

A Career Exploration Program for 

Maui County High School Students

A FREE, one-week intensive program full of excursions and reflections 

Students will get behind-the-scenes tours and meet various experts and leaders, exploring varying career paths and economic industries in Maui County. 


Stay Maui Nui is a collaborative youth program between the 

Ka Ipu Kukui Fellows and The Maui Family YMCA.

Ages

From 9th Grade up to 1 year out of High School

Objective

Encourage and inspire participants to find a career path enabling them to work and live in Maui County post-high school, by exposing and introducing participants to the varying sectors, elements, and economic networks in Maui County.

Application Required

Space is limited, and completing the program application is required.

Day 1

Cohort Introductions and team buildingExcursions begin!

Day 2, 3 & 4

Excursions to businesses, organizations, and governmental sites for career exploration and learning the economic drivers in Maui County.

Day 5

Day 4 for Lana'i

Reflection and PresentationsCohort will reflect and present their learning to family and supporters.
