A BOY WHO ATE TOO MUCH
This is the story of a boy named Mike,
while he was out, he fell from a bike.
When he was cycling, he bumped a tree,
now he is crying with a scraped knee.
One of the bystanders was his friend Andy,
he offered Mike some ''healing candy.''
The candy of course were regular sweets,
the kind that every child eats.
Mike however did not much care,
he ate and ate till we heard a tear.
What happened you ask? it was his shirt,
but then Mike noticed his stomach hurt.
Mike's mom had to rush him to the ward,
while waiting their turn they soon became bored.
When Mike saw the doctor with a syringe,
he got so scared he threw up,
then he realised his actions were ''cringe''
he knew that he screwed up.
When they got home, his mother forbid
Mike from eating sweets
he learned a lesson, surely he did
fruits and vegetables now he eats.
But when his mother turns her back
with a mischievous smile he pulls out a snack.

TIME TRAVELLERS
Working as a personal chef for a wealthy retired mystery novelist isn't always easy. The old writer who let himself be referred to only as Lord Aitchison is a kind and considerate man, who treats his workers with nothing but respect. His luxurious old cottage in the Scottish Highlands has a beautiful view and although the kitchen is hot, the nights are cold and the work is tiring, young Olivia is pretty happy with her life.
The house didn’t have a landline and the highest point of the cottage was the only place with phone service. He enjoyed the peace and silence and didn’t want to be disturbed not even in a case of emergency. That's why the young chef was so surprised when her phone rang one night, as she was getting ready for bed.
A female voice told her that there would be a fire and she was there to save her. Confused, Olivia asked her who she was, but she only informed her where to meet her and hung up. Olivia was considering telling her Lord or one of his servants about the strange call but decided not to and instead started to get ready. If there really might be a fire and the stranger contacted her to save her, she should pack at least a few important items.
As she was sneaking outside, she didn't come across a single living soul. It was out of character for the house to be that quiet and dark when it used to be lively no matter what time it was, but she paid it no mind. "Maybe the rest was already evacuated because of the fire," she said to herself. However, when she stepped outside there was no one there, as well. Or at least, she thought.
After a minute, when Olivia's eyes adjusted to the darkness, she noticed a not so tall figure standing under a near tree. She slowly walked towards them ready to ask questions. But the only sound leaving her mouth was a shocked gasp when the stranger suddenly grabbed her arm. She didn't even have a chance to ask what this was all about, the unexpected brightness and noise of a busy street left her speechless. This didn't feel like the mountains Olivia's was used to nor to 2021. At least, she finally had a chance to take in the strangers appearance. Long black trench coat, waist-long red hair with bangs covering most of the woman's face. She was shorter than Olivia and looked just as confused as the young chef. Before Olivia noticed more, the woman started walking down the busy road motioning Olivia to follow her.
After some time, she started speaking. She explained that her name was Ava and that she was a time traveller sent to save her from the cottage and the mad man that is Lord Aitchison. Not believing in her crazy story about time travelling, Olivia tried her best to defend the old writer, but Ava interrupted her.
"I´ve messed up, we're not supposed to be here."
"Wait, are you serious about this time-travelling thing?" Olivia asked but Ava seemed to be way too focused on whatever she was writing on her flip phone.
"Obviously," she finally answered, "how do you think we got here? Wherever we are."
She started paying attention to her phone again.
After a while, she spoke again, "I know where we are. Let's hurry, we need to find a train station."
Olivia tried to ask why Ava was already on her way to ... who knows where. Olivia had enough. She was technically kidnapped in the middle of the night, transported somewhere unknown, stuck with a moody red- head, refusing to explain to her what was going on. When Ava noticed Olivia still didn´t move, she let out a frustrated sigh and walked back to the confused girl.
"We're in 1960 London right now. Approximately 900 kilometres away from the Scottish Highlands, which means you should be safe enough but 60 years into the past. I can't believe I´ve made a mistake this huge." She pinched the bridge of her nose and finally looked at Olivia, "Some trains can get you anywhere in time and space if you know how to look for them. We don't have enough time tell you more details or why we need to get you out of that house, but I promise, I'll answer all questions you have once we are on the train okay? Follow me."
So she did. They were walking for a good hour, asking random passers-by how to get to the nearest train station and getting lost a few times but in the end, they made it. Ava explained how to recognize the special trains and why they couldn‘t just time-travel back to their time the same way as they got there.
Apparently, Ava’s device was not meant to travel in time only in space but in a hurry, she typed some information wrong. When they were comfortably seated, she spoke again, "You don’t age while sitting in this train. I feel like I should tell you that because we will be here for a while. We have to wait for our year after all."
And that was the begging of their adventure. The train was jumping through time and space as it pleased. One day they were in the 1980’s New York and the other in 1600 Italy. And maybe they got off on some stations, no one wants to just sit and wait for years after all, and Ava was surprisingly a nice company. Olivia had never learned why she needed to leave her whole life behind so urgently, but she didn‘t mind. Sometimes she wondered how she would explain this to her family. She was sure no one would ever believe her but honestly, Olivia couldn‘t believe it herself.

Scarry Christmas Carol
The day which will always stay s my mind is 23rd December 2016. I was going to spend the holidays with my fiancée Olivia, and some friends in a cabin that our wealthy friend owns.
Snowflakes were falling from the sky. And in this freezing weather, I and Olivia were sitting in the dark blue Chevrolet driving through a dark forest in North Dakota. After hours of driving, we finally arrived where the beautiful cabin was standing. We rushed inside and immediately smelt the scent of freshly baked gingerbread. Kate was in the kitchen, cooking dinner. Adelaide was dancing to Christmas music around the Christmas tree and decorating.
"Olivia, Emily, thank God you two are finally here. It is getting dark outside. We were worried that something happened to you," said Tom and came inside with hands full of logs.
"Snow happened," I said with a smile.
Later that day, we all were sitting at a dinner table with decorated gingerbread. We had a great time. After that, we all went to our rooms because it was late. Olivia was showering when suddenly her phone rang, and not long after text message came. I couldn't help myself, and I checked her phone, even though I knew I shouldn't. It was a message from her boss. The text message said: "How long do you want to wait? I hope you don't want to marry Emily because I love you." I couldn't believe what I saw on that phone. I checked earlier messages, and I got it right. She was cheating on me for months. Then I checked messages from Kate, she had known about that, and Adelaide as well. I got up from bed and went outside without a coat. I felt like I was in a dream. I wanted to clear my head. And then I saw an axe.
Suddenly, I picked the axe and went back inside. Olivia was still in the shower. I sat on the bed and waited until Olivia came out of the bathroom. Without hesitation, I drove that axe through her throat. Her blood was all over me, on the walls, on the rug, on the sheets, on the curtains, and on that beautiful dark wooden floor. I turned on gas on the stove and turned off all lights. I took a quick shower. I packed the majority of my things and got in a car. I was leaving when someone turned on a light in the kitchen, and the cabin shattered into small pieces. I somehow felt relieved, and let them all there.
After a few years, I was waiting for a train in the middle of some Bolivian desert. I was without money, hiding from the police and justice. Despite all of this, I haven't felt any guilt and, I think I will never feel it, although I sometimes miss Olivia’s laugh and her calm voice.
