We will be doing a special advent project in December.  I am collecting small/medium round margarine tubs with lids or anything like that.  Please send them to school at any time by December 8.  Thank you!

Spelling words for 11/24-11/28:  There will be no spelling this week due to the short week.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Students are responsible to make sure they have everything they need for school daily.  They need a lunch, a healthy snack, their water bottle, home folder and planner every day.   Help your child remember what they need.

Students will take a spelling pretest on Thursdays and a spelling test on Fridays.  If it is a short week, they will only take the pretest as their test.  

Student homework is spelling and reading the phonics book weekly.  There may be other assignments here and there or they may bring home work that is not completed in class.  Homework should not take more than 20 minutes, 30 minutes at the most.  If it is taking longer than that, then stop and email me.
