Spelling Words for week of March 16-20: Group A: harp, quack, shelf, path, twirl, card, farm, child, find, mold Group B: In addition to the Group A words; because, said, capital, must, learn Challenge words: shamrock and rainbow

March is Reading month for the week: Monday - Reading logs are due! Wednesday - Dress like a book character and bring a book or rosary for silent reading/prayer before morning prayer. No school on Friday!

*Please note that the dress as a character day has been switched to Wednesday, March 18 instead of March 19.*

We are entering the season of Lent and will be discussing how the Catholic church practices their faith through these next few weeks. In addition, we prepare for the sacrament of Holy Communion. It is a very special time for second grade!
