October 1 & 8- Altar server training

October 13- All school Mass- Bishop Fisher visits

October 15 &16 - No school. Teachers away at a conference

October 24- PTC Trunk or Treat

October 27 & 28 - Picture day

October 30- Half day for all students.  Dismissal at 11:30. No pm bus or latchkey

Sixth graders are learning about precise and spatial locations.  Here they work together with self-created maps.

Attention:

6th graders- Students have begun a unit of study on place and regions.  Teams of students created brochures advertising a U.S. region.

7th graders- Students are learning about the Fertile Crescent and early civilizations.  They have created clay tablets with their names written in cuneiform.

8th graders -Students are studying the battles of the Civil War.  Please ask your student about an upcoming project subject.  A Civil War museum is on the horizon.

Writing names in cuneiform takes concentration.  Cuneiform is an ancient form of writing.
