Sixth graders created goods or services to sell in a classroom marketplace
Each student was given fun money to spend at neighboring businesses
Students quickly learned that it is essential to carry extra products as inventories were quickly depleted.

Plate tectonic movement can cause volcanoes and earthquakes! 6th graders tested the stability of their pasta/marshmallow structures on an earthquake simulation device.
Sixth graders presented cultural shoe box projects. Some of the students elected to share foods representing the culture they researched.
