Calling All Saints- Living Stations Opportunity
All students, Kindergarten and older, are invited to participate in this year’s presentation of the Living Stations of the Cross! This is a great opportunity for the children of our parish to evangelize, learn more about Jesus’ sacrifice for us, and have a great time! There are no lines to learn. The children simply act out the story while it is being narrated. All costumes are provided.
Practice: There will be two practices: 12:00 – 1:15 PM on March 8th and March 15th at St.
Augustine (after Faith Formation classes). Lunch will be provided – gather in the
Parish Hall to start.
Presentation: The children will enact two presentations of the Living Stations.
Friday, March 20th at 7:00 PM at St. Augustine
Good Friday, April 3rd at 12:00 PM at Holy Family
(Please arrive at least one hour before the presentations to dress and set-up.)
Service Hours: Participation in the Living Stations can be used to meet some of the service hour requirement for Confirmation.
If your child is interested in participating, or if any adults are interested in helping, please contact Rachael Kuffa by calling or texting (810) 394-0344.
If you are unable to participate, please join us at either or both of the presentations as we pray the Living Stations to praise Jesus remembering His saving Sacrifice.

"Go Saints!"
Hello, Middle School Families!
This past week we learned about the virtue of Meekness, and how we can be more meek in our daily lives-- in and out of school. We also continue to discuss how the different virtues fit into our behavioral expectations throughout our school and church. We are continuing to listen to the Hallow podcast for 6th-8th graders called, “The 180” each day. Students have been writing some great reflections and learning about how to become more Christlike through these rich podcasts during Lent. If they would like to continue at home or over the weekends, they will receive extra credit!
In the classroom, sixth grade Science students completed their Ch. 12 test and began the next chapter titled, "Clues to Earth's Past" (Ch. 10). Eighth grade Science students began their next chapter, "Elements & Chemical Bonds" (Ch. 11) this week. More labs will be happening in these new chapters!
In English, 6th grade began writing their persuasive essays, while seventh and eighth grade students began their next writing assignments (Compare & Contrast Essay for 7th, and Graduation Essays for 8th). As I've told the students, this will be a "writing-heavy" quarter, and writing is so good for our brains and memory health!
**Just a reminder, there is no school next Thursday or Friday. Also, please take a close look at the students' "March is Reading Month" calendar that went home last Friday. Students should be reading 20+ minutes a night, get their reading logs signed by their parent/guardian, and then submit those logs to me every Monday. There are a lot of competitions going on amongst the "Houses" this month, so please be sure to check it out! Please reach out if you have any questions.
I hope to see you all at Fish Fry Fridays this Lenten season! Let's continue to keep one other, Father Anthony, and our St. A's community in our daily prayers. I will continue to keep you all in mine. See you on Monday, Saints!
Sincerely, Mrs. LeBrun 😊
