Calling All Saints- Living Stations Opportunity
All students, Kindergarten and older, are invited to participate in this year’s presentation of the Living Stations of the Cross! This is a great opportunity for the children of our parish to evangelize, learn more about Jesus’ sacrifice for us, and have a great time! There are no lines to learn. The children simply act out the story while it is being narrated. All costumes are provided.
Practice: There will be two practices: 12:00 – 1:15 PM on March 8th and March 15th at St.
Augustine (after Faith Formation classes). Lunch will be provided – gather in the
Parish Hall to start.
Presentation: The children will enact two presentations of the Living Stations.
Friday, March 20th at 7:00 PM at St. Augustine
Good Friday, April 3rd at 12:00 PM at Holy Family
(Please arrive at least one hour before the presentations to dress and set-up.)
Service Hours: Participation in the Living Stations can be used to meet some of the service hour requirement for Confirmation.
If your child is interested in participating, or if any adults are interested in helping, please contact Rachael Kuffa by calling or texting (810) 394-0344.
If you are unable to participate, please join us at either or both of the presentations as we pray the Living Stations to praise Jesus remembering His saving Sacrifice.

"Go Saints!"
Hello, Middle School Families!
This past week we learned about the virtue of Honesty, and how we can be more honest in our daily lives-- in and out of school. We also continue to discuss how the different virtues fit into our behavioral expectations throughout our school and church. We are continuing to listen to the Hallow podcast for 6th-8th graders called, “The 180” each day. Students have been writing some great reflections and learning about how to become more Christlike through these rich podcasts during Lent. If they would like to continue at home or over the weekends, they will receive extra credit!
In the classroom, sixth grade Science students completed an engaging lab in which they discovered the job of a paleontologist! They had to "dig" and discover various fossils, identify the different types, discuss the clues to earth's past, and then complete their lap report. Eighth grade Science students took notes on Lesson 2 of "Elements & Chemical Bonds" (Ch. 11) this week, and did an engaging lab creating "covalent bonds" with marshmallows and toothpicks.
In English, all grade levels are working on a different essay (personal narrative for 6th & 7th, graduation essay completion -8th).
Our St. A's Honor Society also held our second meeting with our newest members and discussed upcoming Spring service projects and fundraisers. More to "spring up" soon! 😄
I hope to see you all at our final Fish Fry on 4/03! Let's continue to keep one other, Father Anthony, and our St. A's community in our daily prayers. I will continue to keep you all in mine. See you on Monday, Saints!
Sincerely, Mrs. LeBrun 😊
