I attended St. Augustine school myself from kindergarten to eighth grade. I graduated from Oakland University and have been teaching here for eleven years. I enjoy reading and doing outside activities like going to the beach and camping with my family!
May 18th- May 21st
Letter Time/Phonics: We will learn about coding long vowel not followed by a consonant. We will identify vowel sounds in words as well as learn about the long vowel sound of the letter I and a new coding rule called a macron that goes above long vowel sounds as well as the sneaky E rule.
Kindergarten Reading: We will be starting to learn about the writing process.
Math: We will learn about symmetry, comparing height and length, dividing things into equal parts, comparing numbers and objects to 20, and using a ruler. TK will learn about counting by twos.
Religion: We will be learning about how Jesus helps us and teaches us.
Science/Social Studies: We will learn about frogs.
