Class News

Religion

This week students will have Mass on Tuesday instead of Thursday. In Relgion class students will study the 4 parts of the Mass. They will learn the significance of each part and how each part can nuture and strengthen them to be active followers of Christ.

ELA

Students will read a nonfiction play about Bessie Coleman. She was America's first Black and Native American female pilot. They will use the story to identify the main ideas and supporting details in the play.

Math

This week is a short week. Students will have a test on 3/11. Monday we will combine art and math. Students will create tessellations and use the geometric transformations to so.

Social Studies

In Social Studies students will research various topics regarding the land of the Southeast Region creating a presentation on google slides. The presentation will consist of 5 slides with text and images. They will present their slides to their classmates.

Science

We are working with energy. Students will use different activities to discover what energy is. They will also compare and contrast potential and kinetic energy.
