Religion

This week students will study the Easter Triduum. Students will study Holy Week and the importance of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday,and Easter Sundy. All these days make up Easter Triduum and these days celebrate the joy of the cross.

ELA

Students are meeting in Reading Groups this week. Also, students will read informational passages to review text structures. We will use an Emily Dickinson poem to study connotation and denotation.

Math

This week in Math, students will practice and learn to multiply a 2-digit number by another 2-digit number, remainders in equal group word problems, and improper fractions.

Social Studies

In Social Studies students will learn about the Cherokee people and how their lives were before and after European settlers arrived.

Science

We are working with energy. Students will use different activities to discover what energy is. They will also compare and contrast potential and kinetic energy.
