Students started the 8th commandment, Thou shall not bear false witness against they neighbor. They will continue to learn the deeper meaning of this commandment this week. They will learn if they lie, they'd need to make up for the damage they've done, and they are to avoid gossip, rumors, and secrets. We'll also study Penecost.
ELA
Students will identify and analyze the setting of a play based on the story of Rip Van Winkle.
They'll compare and contrast two settings. The settings from the past and in the present.
Then they'll write a narrative that compares the present and the past.
