Class News

Religion

We will begin to study the 2nd Commandment, You shall not take the Lord your God in vain. Students will know this commandment more deeply by the time we are finished with the chapter.

ELA

Students will continue to learn about different text structures. This week students will work on a text structure sort and a match up.

Math

This week in Math students will continue to expand their knowledge in division. They will divide and have 2 digit quotients with a remainder and divide using divisors ending in zero. Then they will multiply numbers by multiples of ten, measure using millimeters, and solve words problems about a fraction of a group.

Social Studies

In Social Studies students will learn about the land in the Northeast region. They will learn from their classmates. Groups have researched and made slides about the different topics of the land of the NE. Each groups will present their work in class.

Science

Students will infer function of different leaf traits by exploring and predicting with 2 different leaves. Then they will learn how plants are classified. We will learn about he different structures and functions of plants.
