Religion
Since Advent begins November 30th, we will study the season of Advent and the celebrations that are held within the season.
ELA
Students will find the connections between two texts about how and why scientists have worked to stop invasive species from spreading. They will respond to reading by writing 2 paragraphs about what they learned in both texts.
Math
This week in Math, we will have another lesson on comparing fractions. We will also multiply a 3-digit number by a 1 -digit number, estimate arithmetic, and solve rate problems.
Social Studies
In Social Studies students will learn about the riches in the US and how it has changed over the years. Students will infer that a region's growth is related to its resources.
Science
Students will infer function of different leaf traits by exploring and predicting with 2 different leaves. Then they will learn how plants are classified. We will learn about he different structures and functions of plants.
