Take a look at our week before Christmas Break:
All grades completed Unit 6 vocabulary.
Sixth graders focused primarily on Unit 6 vocabulary words. Skills include: antonyms, synonyms, and application of words into a paragraph.
Seventh graders began reading the short story, "Bargin" by A.B. Gunthrie. Skills include: setting, vocabulary, and compare and contrast.
Eighth graders finished reading, "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis. Students completed a test and wrote an essay about the greatest lesson they learned about their salvation through this novel.
The virtue of the week before Christmas Break refocused on kindness.
Kindness means expressing genuine concern about the well-being of others and often anticipating their needs.
