Had to keep it up for a second week! They are awesome!

6th grade chapter 4 test on Monday.

Mass on Thursday, October 22, 2026 @ 8:15 am. Bilingual mass, which means parts of the mass will be said in spanish! If you've never attended a Bilingual mass please join us, it is a beautiful experience and it will give you a chance to see your kids speak spanish while worshipping the Lord.

St. A's spiritwear day on Friday, wear your St. Augustine shirts, donate a $1.00 for our fundraiser "Kids Against Hunger."

Halloween dance permission slips due by Friday.

Guadalupe Students for Life will meet on Friday at lunch time. I am looking forward to joining the kids celebrating life, having some fun while we learn about God's beautiful plan for his children.

Weekly classroom plans for this week!

6th grade: The students did a great job presenting their group stories: Adam &Eve; Cain & Abel; Noah's Ark and his family/ Tower of Babel, I think we all had fun while getting a different view of the biblical stories.

We will move forward in the Old Testament this week as we discover the patriarch's and matriarch's in scripture.

7th grade; The students will meet God in the person of Jesus-Incarnation, we think we know the story, but it is much deeper and truly shows us the depth of God's mercy and love for us. We will dive deeper into the synoptic gospel writers, the symbols of the writers, the different styles and identify the differences in their writings.

8th grade; Oh boy! Look out! This week will cover Jesus' impact on society and His vision of perfection compared to ours. The students will grow in their understanding of how the 4th through 6th commandments are taught by Jesus in the gospels.

The conference in Grand Rapids on Thursday and Friday was wonderful and I enjoyed meeting and sharing ideas with many teachers from other schools.
