Classroom updates:
This week in religious education:
6th through 8th grade will continue unit lessons on "Theology of the Body."
In studying St. John Paul's II, "Theology of the Body," I have discovered the beauty of his theology and how he builds on our creation throughout the grades.
From 6th through 8th grade he centers on the importance of our existence, our call into a deeper relationship with Himself, our ability to accept or decline this invitation, and our call to vocation.
Not only do the students have an opportunity to grow in their knowledge of how important Pope John Paul II's contributions to God's Church on earth was during his papacy, they also recieve a birdseye view of his love for God's children, especially them.
With only a few weeks left to school, my goal will be to help these wonderful students recognize the importance they have in the world because God loved them into being!
As we continue to build the kingdom of God, may we always recognized our uniqueness and embrace our call from God.
Have a beautiful week!
