#WorkforceDev2022
In recognition of the critical role workforce development services play in Colorado’s commitment to support a thriving environment for workers and employers throughout the state, Governor Jared Polis signed a proclamation declaring September Workforce Development Month. The signing follows the passing of 20 workforce-related bills to support a variety of industries including healthcare, agriculture, and coal during the 2022 legislative session while leveraging more than $225 million in American Recovery Plan Act funds.
During the month, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) and its partners will be featuring resources that Colorado’s workers, employers, and communities can use to advance their careers, grow their businesses, and ensure their future economic prosperity. Resources include important data on in-demand skills and growing industries, labor market trends, upcoming training sessions and events, and more.
