The Division of Real Estate alerts the public of a Denver real estate broker and associates who were charged in alleged scams

The Denver District Attorney’s Office has formally charged Gretchen Horst, a licensed Colorado real estate broker, her business partner Amin Suliaman, and a title-closing agent Linda Rogers with criminal theft, conspiracy to commit theft, forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery.

2018 ACU Class

The 2018 Annual Commission Update Course has been released, and approved providers started the year strong with a number of offerings across the state and via approved distance education methods. This year’s Annual Commission Update covers critical changes that have been made to the license law and the Division’s rules and regulations that were in response to the 2016 Sunset Review Process.

The Annual Commission Update course is a great place to get accurate information from the Division of Real Estate regarding the areas of practice that are resulting in license law violations and referrals for investigation, areas of change regarding rules and regulations that brokers are required to comply with, and practical scenarios that help licensees navigate the complex world of real estate transactions.

In order to maintain your license status you must maintain your continuing education requirements.

Brokers must complete 12 hours of mandatory education during their three year license cycle, or utilize one of the alternatives prescribed by law. Though brokers have a number of options to fulfill mandatory CE requirements, the Annual Commission Update course is the only option that offers interactive course content that will improve a broker's practice in real estate, discussion regarding contract and forms changes, and informs licensees on changes to Division of Real Estate processes, procedures, and expectations.
