Getting to Vail 

We are thrilled to welcome you to Vail for the upcoming WCPSC Conference! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable journey, please find below a comprehensive guide on getting to Vail.


Air Travel:



Ground Transportation:


Transit from DEN: The A Line commuter train runs about every 15 minutes, is just steps outside the DIA concourse, goes directly into downtown Denver's Union Station. The fare is $10 each way. At Union Station, take the Bustang coach from Gate B19 to the Vail Transportation Center. It leaves Union Station six times a day (7:00AM, 9:45AM, 11:30AM, 2:00PM, 4:00PM, and 5:40PM) and each coach has a restroom, bike racks, Wi-Fi, power outlets, and USB ports. The Bustang fare is $17 each way. 


Transit from EGE:  In addition to the shuttles listed below, the Eagle County Bus (ECO) Transit Valley Route Eastbound stops at EGE approximately every hour and will take you from the door of EGE to the Vail Transportation Center, which conveniently connects to The Hythe through the free Intown shuttle. Travel time is about an hour. Starting May 19, the ECO is free. 

Car Rentals: A variety of rental car rentals are available at each airport. The drive from Denver to Vail takes a good 2 hours.  It is almost entirely on the interstate, including some mountain passes.  The drive from EGE to Vail takes approximately 40 minutes and is also almost entirely on the interstate. Parking at The Hythe is discounted to $30 per night.

Shuttle Services: Several shuttle companies provide transportation from DEN and EGE to the Vail Transportation Center. Shuttles should be booked in advance to ensure availability and schedule meet your needs. Approximate drive time to Vail from Denver is 2 hours 30 minutes. Rates from DEN:

Local Transportation in Vail:

Our host hotel, the Hythe, is centrally located in the Lionshead Village area of Vail. This area is car-free and pedestrian-focused. Most of what Vail Village has to offer is within a mile of the hotel.
