CMS posted the updated final version of the OASIS-E Guidance Manual. Both the instrument and manual are effective for OASIS assessments with an M0090 date on or after January 1st, 2023.
What has changed from the draft to the final version of the OASIS-E Guidance Manual?
There are numerous changes to the final manual, including some significant changes to the BIMS and PHQ-2 to 9 items. A log of changes that have occurred from the draft to the final versions of the Guidance Manual is available here. The final OASIS-E Guidance Manual is available here in the downloads section at the bottom of the page.
The manual is labeled "OASIS-E Manual Final (PDF)".
