iQIES Survey & Certification Provider Forms Video Demonstration Available
As previously announced, the iQIES team recently made several enhancements to the management of Survey & Certification (S&C) Provider Forms. With this new functionality, accessible from the Provider History page, users can:
Create and manage provider forms outside of a survey
Save a form as "In Progress" for future editing
Finalize a form by marking it as "Complete"
A video is now on the secured side of the Quality, Safety & Education Portal (QSEP) website that shows:

How to save forms as Complete
The steps to link a new form to a survey
Note: You must have a HARP account to access both iQIES and QSEP. You also need the QSEP User Role to access the secured side of QSEP. Please see the instructions for how to obtain the appropriate credentials.
Users are encouraged to review the iQIES Manage a Form video demonstration before contacting the iQIES Service Center.

Regulatory preparation remains a top priority for leaders in skilled nursing facilities. Surveys are in full swing with new trends and citation levels on the rise. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a memo detailing surveyor guidance clarifying specific regulatory requirements and providing information on how compliance will be assessed. Surveyors began using this guidance to identify non-compliance on October 24, 2022.
