CMS is pleased to announce that users with the appropriate permissions can now delete intakes in iQIES.
Important to note:
Only intakes with a status of ‘Triage/Prioritization’ can be deleted.
Once an intake is deleted, the deletion takes effect immediately, and users will no longer see the intake in the user interface.
It is recommended that users use the ‘Change Provider’ functionality if a new intake hasn’t already been created and transfer the existing intake to the correct provider.
CMS will update the iQIES User Manual within 8 weeks of this message.
