Provider Training: Conducting Resident Interviews, Section Z, and CAAs

Attention: MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, Billing and Coding Personnel, Licensed Nursing Facilities Administrators  

This training will guide how to appropriately conduct resident interviews in order to accurately code the MDS, review the completion dates and signatures in Section Z and CAAs, and gain a better understanding of validation surveys.
