Responsible Energy & Greenhouse Gas Reduction

• • The LED change over began in 2019 and as of 2020 RMMA has changed out over 1,200 light fixtures to LED at a cost of almost $70,000. This has resulted in a cost savings of approximately $400 per month in electric bills atone

  • In 2016 Rocky Mountain Metropolitan airport installed 81 LEO taxiway tights and 7 LED guidance signs at a cost of approx. $30,000.00. ese improvements helped the airport reduce its energy consumption as welt as solid waste from needing to change and dispose of dithionate bulbs.

Corporate Social Responsibility

• • RMMA also houses up to 12 bee hives on it's 1800 acres of property to help support bee populations facing colony collapse. This program started in 2018 and continues today.
