Jefferson County, Road & Bridge Division maintains over 2,900 lane miles of paved and 700 lane miles of unpaved roadways in unincorporated Jefferson County. In the most cost-effective manner, Road & Bridge performs necessary maintenance and improvements to the County’s infrastructure assuring the best possible conditions for the optimum safety and accessibility of the general public, while preserving the environment. The Road & Bridge Division is committed to using recycled materials to reduce the impact of non-renewable resources.
