Responsible Energy & Greenhouse Gas Reduction
Reduce fleet fuel consumption.
The energy conservation program contributed a 2281 metric ton reduction in greenhouse gasses between 2017 and 2018 with its LED conversion lighting project.
Waste Minimization & Diversion
Implemented a bulk reusable packaging program for satellite installs - 40% reduction in waste.
Diverted waste to the landfill through recycling - over 35 million pounds.
DISH's recycling and waste management program repairs and/or recycles 4.5 million receivers and diverts around 30 million pounds of waste from landfills to recycling a year.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Host an Earth Day Fair.
Plant a tree for every customer that switches to e-billing in the month of April, resulting in almost 100,000 trees planted.
