Waste Minimization & Diversion
Recycle and reuse millings from runway and taxiway rehabilitation projects to create and enhance the perimeter road, snow stockpile area, and/or given to airport tenants that will reuse them on their own projects.

Replace turf areas with conservation landscaping using native plants.
Installed automated low flow toilets and faucets.
Conducts annual stormwater training with staff and tenants to make sure the activities being conducted on the airport are keeping our stormwater clean and keeping the airport in compliance with their industrial stormwater permit.

Utilized undeveloped land to implement bee hives.
Noise department was awarded the Walt Gillfillian award for exemplary achievements and contributions in noise abatement and sustainability in aviation.
