History Colorado offers an array of digital training opportunities to Colorado CLGs through webinars, interactive workshops, and online classes provided by our staff and guest speakers. Only events listed in our Training Calendar count towards a CLG's annual SHPO-approved training requirement. You can subscribe to our Google Calendar to have events automatically added to your calendar. Complete our Request Form to add your event to the Training Calendar.
Webinars are offered semi-monthly, typically on the third Wednesday at noon. You can use the link provided in the event information to register for the webinar via Zoom. Recorded Webinars are made available via this website along with additional resources on the selected topic.
Design Review Critiques are interactive online meetings offered via Zoom where CLGs and History Colorado staff conduct design review for a real project from Colorado. These critiques will strengthen your ability to objectively apply the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and justify your decision-making process.
*Regional Forums are offered annually in each of the eight CLG regions across the state. The date, location, and training topic are selected by the CLGs in each region. Forums include an opportunity for CLGs to share ideas and challenges as well as receive training tailored to their region.
Workshops are interactive trainings offered during Colorado Preservation, Inc.'s Saving Places Conference each year. Additional workshops may be scheduled by request and if resources are available.
Presentations are offered to CLGs and other community organizations as needed throughout the year.
*These programs are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
