I am so excited to be a part of STA! Teaching is a second career for me. I decided to change my career in administrative work after I spent a significant amount of time in my boys' schools helping out in many capacities such as a Literacy Volunteer and Publishing Center Chair. I obtained my teaching degree at Central Connecticut State University in 2014. Over the past few years, I have been working at STA as an Interventionist, helping out as a substitute, and this will be my 4th year as the 3A classroom teacher. Before I became part of the STA/STM family, I spent time in the Farmington and Avon school districts wearing many hats but most of my time was spent as a full time Interventionist and a 2nd Grade teacher. I have been married for 31 years, I have 2 boys in college and 2 Ragdoll kitties that I absolutely adore. I love creating a classroom family and I look forward to meeting and spending the year with your children helping them learn at their highest level.
Here are a few of my favorite things.

Red Sox
Smoothies & Avocado Toast
