October has been a busy and exciting month in 5th grade! Students are diving into compare and contrast writing, beginning new novel studies, and creating thoughtful Saint projects in preparation for All Saints’ Day. In Social Studies, we’re learning about different Native American groups, and in Science, we’re exploring the growth and survival of plants and animals.
As the month wraps up, we’re looking forward to our Trunk or Treat event on October 24, and we’re continuing to collect new socks for our Socktober service project through October 31 to help those in need. It’s been a wonderful month of learning, creativity, and kindness in 5th grade!
