Unit 3: Fall Fruit: (9/15-9/26) We are so excited to begin our Fall Fruit (Apples and Pumpkins) unit! Our focus will be on continuing to strengthen our fine motor skills, using our senses to explore the world, learning about the life cycle of an apple, making predictions, and so much more! Our sight words this unit include: see, a.

• Literacy: Apple/Pumpkin Books, identifying letters of the alphabet, writing the letters of the alphabet. We will be focusing on the letters B and F in this unit.

• Math: Making patterns, counting pumpkin seeds, identifying 2D shapes, and number identification.

• Science: Pumpkins! Weighing pumpkins, making observations, using our senses to explore the world, and the life cycle of a pumpkin.

• Religion: Knowing God's Family. God gave us a family at home, and at church.

• Social/Emotional Learning: Courage. Exploring the feelings and emotions that come with being brave.

• STEM: Can you build an apple structure? Can you build a pumpkin tower?

• Spanish: Manzana - Apple. Calabaza - Pumpkin.
