St. Arsenije Sremac church choir was founded in 2004 by parishioners Mr. Svetozar Jovanovic and Ms. Lepa Jankovic, with a primary goal to respond during the Sunday Liturgy. In 2016, for the first time, the choir ventured outside of the church setting by performing at Serbian Singing Federation festival in Kitchener, and again in 2017 in Pittsburgh.
Throughout 2018 and 2019 the choir performed at different events in Ontario. In spring 2019, it held its first full evening concert at the historical St. Arsenije Sremac church building in Whitby. In fall 2019 the choir joined voices with singers from other local ethnic communities, performing as a guest choir at the Durham Youth Orchestra (DYO) Fall Concert.
The choir activity was halted during the pandemic, and it resumed again in spring 2023. On November 4, 2023, the choir held its second full evening sacred choral music concert, at the historical St. Arsenije Sremac church building. The concert was prepared in collaboration with singers from the Russian community. It also commemorated the St. Arsenije Sremac Church in Whitby 30th anniversary.
