Student Scheduling
for 2023-24
for 2023-24
Read through the content and material below that is relevant to your goals, what you like, what you want to pursue, and how to get there. We have included a link to our course guide, information about electives, credits, class weight, Boces programs, and other information that will help inform you of the best path towards the right schedule for you. Please keep in mind that we have a requirement that students take at least 6.5 credits (5.5 for Seniors) each year, where a BOCES placement counts as 3 credits.
Be advised, once school begins in September, you cannot drop any class until after 10 weeks (5 weeks for 1/2 year electives).
Follow the steps below to complete the scheduling process. The counselor will then review the submitted material and meet with students one-on-one, if needed.
It's extremely important to round out your education with courses that are outside of the cores, and outside of your current interests. High School is an opportunity to try new things and take courses you wouldn't otherwise have access to. Don't be afraid of trying something new; something different. When else will you have the chance at taking Ceramics or Photography? Now is the time to try it! Click on the links below to learn more about what we offer. The current Course Guide contains descriptions of these courses and can be found by clicking on the "Course Guide" button above.
