Siblings Together groups give your child the opportunity to be a part of a collective that shares similar experiences and faces similar challenges.
Starobin Counseling’s Sibling Support Group provides a supportive and therapeutic environment for children who have autistic siblings.
The Siblings Together group for kids & tweens (ages 8-13) is offered a few times each year. It's open to residents of Maryland, Virginia, Colorado and DC.
The group meets online - using a secure telehealth platform - every other Tuesday
Bari Turkheimer, LCSW-C, provides a therapeutic space for kids to learn about autism & connect with others who have autistic siblings.
The cost is $85/session

Meet Siblings Together Facilitator Bari Turkheimer, LCSW-C
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’ve focused my clinical skills, knowledge, and training on providing mental health services to neurodivergent individuals, particularly autistic people.
I’m excited to share my expertise by providing support to children and adolescents who are siblings of autistic people!
During the day, I work with elementary, middle, and high school aged students as the Mental Health Specialist in Ivymount’s Aspire School Program. Learn more about my background on the Starobin Counseling website!
