Rarely you find a real estate agent who you feel comfortable working with, who is not pushy and helping you do the deal on your own terms. Mike helped us on both sides of the transaction - buy and sell. The always advised us on the recommended course, but accommodated our requirements. Mike was  always very responsive to our questions. I cannot recommend the Esenberg team enough! I was a first time home buyer, and to say I was clueless would be an understatement. I first reached out to the Esenberg team in February, and Sherri was very prompt in responding. I mostly worked with Sherri, but Lauren showed me a few houses, and Mike worked behind the scenes and helped explain some very specific closing cost questions I had.The entire team was so incredibly patient with me. Sherri and I saw so many homes together over the span of a few days. We all know a realtor, right?  Well, I want to brag about mine, Sherri Esenberg, because she is unlike any realtor I have ever known. 

When I bought my first home Sherri protected me from looking at surface level details (cosmetics) to focus on important things like windows, structure, roof, appliances and the like.  She taught me a lot and held my hand through the process. 

One thing we discussed while house hunting was upgrades.  She let me know that while I lived in the house I should always keep the future buyer in mind as upgrades could affect a future sell.  So even after I purchased my home I often called Sherri about her opinion on house projects.  She gave her honest professional advice regarding a return on my investment of such improvements regardless if it was a deck, a water filtration system, or paint color but she also gave her personal opinion as a friend if it was mutually beneficial for me and the future buyer.

So, when 2021 arrived and I needed to sell my house I knew the enhancements I had made would add value.  During the early stages she helped me price the house where it brought in lots of buyers.  When 9 offers came in within 24hrs, she made a spreadsheet showing me the comparison of the best contract.  She knew how to guarantee I walked away with money in my pocket if the appraisal came in lower than the sale price and once I picked my buyer, she continued to provide unparalleled guidance.  My buyer had the best offer but there was no way we could have known he had the most demanding and difficult personality.   When the deal was days from closing and the buyer tried to strong arm me giving him unnecessary credits at closing, she had the finesse to guarantee the close.  She knew my position was sensitive and putting my house back on the market would delay my delicate situation.

She absolutely went above and beyond what was necessary and blew my mind with her unyielding sacrifice.  I worked for a real estate company once who were unconcerned about what was best for the client and only in a hurry to make money.  Sherri renewed not only my opinion in realtors but also in humanity; her compassion, commitment, and expertise in unparalleled.
