American Degree Recipients
The highest degree that a FFA member can achieve in the FFA association is the American Degree.
The American FFA Degree is given at the National FFA Convention & Expo each year. Less than 1% of FFA members make it to the high honor of the American Degree. In Addition to the degree, FFA members receiving the award also receive a gold American FFA Degree key.
The top degree recipients from each stay can also be nominated for an American Star Award. The list of approved American FFA Degree Recipients is announced in August of each year.

Iowa FFA Degree
The Iowa Degree is the highest degree the Iowa FFA Association can bestow. The State Committee selected the members who received the degree according to provisions in the Iowa FFA Constitution. Awards were presented to the successful nominees at the annual Iowa FFA Leadership Conference.
