Week of April 12, 2026
*Happy mid-April!*
1. Hello Sunshine, Hello 80 Degrees, and finally, Hello Spring! We endured a brutal and very cold winter and Mother Nature has finally decided to show kindness towards us! We thank the newly risen Jesus for sending us this beautiful weather and we are excited for the days and weeks to come enjoying tons of sun and lots of fun! Let's make Spring memories with our families and friends that we will never forget!
2. Tomorrow, Monday, April 13th, my Padua Panthers may begin to wear their Saint Anthony of Padua Summer Uniforms and all Students must adhere to the Dress Code. For Boys, this includes our Saint Anthony of Padua white golf shirt, navy/grey uniform pants, a belt, and the proper school shoes. For Girls. this includes our Saint Anthony of Padua grey plaid jumper, white button down blouse, navy knee high socks, and the proper school shoes.
3. Our First Communicants are doing an awesome job preparing their hearts for Jesus and Father Nick and I are super proud! They will have another imprortant practice tomorrow, April 13th at 1:00PM at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church. Shout out to Mrs. Pacienza for her hard work in preparing her students! In addition to working on Holy Communion, they are preparing for their Bread Service too! Great work, Team Second Grade!
4. On Wednesday, April 15th, our Students in Grades 4 and 5 will compete in their George Washington Carver Science Fair and we are excited to see them shine as they share and spread their love for Science! They are going to do great and we are already super proud of their hard work! Special Thanks to Moderators: Ms. Landi, Mr. Pizzo, and Mrs. Dougherty! Congratulations to all!
5. Parents, we hope that you will join us for our April Mass on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 at 1:30PM at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church as we celebrate the Easter Season! This Mass will be led by our 6th Grade Panthers and we invite all Moms, Dads, Family Members, and Friends to attend! Please be advised that all Students will be dismissed from church that afternoon.
6. Reminder: There will be No School for the Padua Panthers on Friday, April 17th, 2026 as our Panther Teachers will be attending an Archdiocesan Professional Development Meeting! The weather is going to be Summer-like so Panthers, make some special plans with your families and friends and be sure to end the day with ice cream! We love a long weekend, don't we?!
7. Who is ready for a night of good friends, good food, and good fun?! Father Nick and I know how to throw a party and on Friday evening, we are hosting an Adult Night at the Races Party! We hope that you will join us for what we know will be a fantastic evening! Bring your luck, your smiles, and your friends and family! We can't wait to see you there! Perhaps you will even walk away a big winner!!
8. Parents, be sure to keep a close eye on the April Calendar. There is must happening both here at school and over in Church and you don't want to miss a beat of the Padua Panther Positivity! Please keep in mind too, that all outstanding School Fees are now past due including any and all Lunch Fees, Administrative Fees, and Chocolate Fees too. Your timeliness is much appreciated!
9. We are currently in the Registration and Re-Registration Process and are Saint Anthony of Padua Regional CatholicSchool Family is growing by leaps and bounds as we begin to make plans for the 2026-2027 School Year! Remember, the Deadline for Re-Registration is April 8th, 2026 for all current students and as always, be sure to spread the word that our school is the best school in the entire Archdiocese of Philadelphia!
10. Pay attention to your Inbox as an email will be sent your way regarding our May Walk-A-Thon! I also plan to send information home regarding our upcoming Saint Anthony of Padua Regional Catholic School Second Annual Padua Panther Fashion Show and end of year Teen Dance! Parents, be sure to check your emails, texts, and your child's folders each and every night!
11. Let's continue to make every effort to make 2026 a fabulous year by making lasting memories that we will never forget! Here's to Faith, Family, Friends, and Festivities! I am excited to see what 2026 holds for each of us! Let's do this, Panthers! Let's keep making our mark on the world and making it a better place through our smiles & kindness!
