Mrs. Smith-Papp's Announcements
Week of September 8, 2025
*Happy Birthday Blessed Mother!*
1. As we kick off our first full week of school, we celebrate our beautiful Blessed Mother's birthday! We seek her guidance for help with the intentions we hold dear in our hearts. Even more importantly, we know that she is watching over us each day and for that, we are thankful. Blessed Mother, Pray for Us.
2. Our Before and After Cares Programs begin on Monday, September 8th. Parents, please be sure to send in the Cares forms and fees to school as soon as possible so that we know who plans to join our Cares Program with Ms. Christy, Ms. Greco, and Ms. Terri. Thank you.
3. The School Breakfast and Lunch Program begins on Monday, September 15th, therefore it is important that all Students bring a healthy morning snack and lunch to eat each day with a plastic bottle of water. Remember, Saint Anthony of Padua Regional Catholic School is a peanut free school.
4. Wednesday, September 10th is the Feast of Saint Nicholas of Tolentine! Please join us for a special celebration at Mass at 7:00PM at Saint Nicholas of Tolentine Church where Father Nick will blessed the Saint Nicholas bread. We hope to see you there!
5. We will honor Patriot Day as a school community on Thursday, September 11th. Together we will pray and honor all those affected by the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. May their brave and courageous lights continue to shine brightly in heaven. God bless them and God bless America.
6. Congratulations to Grades 1 and 2 who were the first classes to bring in all school forms signed and completed! I am super proud of them and they have earned a Padua Panther Principal Treat that they will be surprised with later this week! Amazing work. 1st and 2nd Graders! Keep it up!
7. Our Terrific Taco Tuesday Forms will be sent home this week. Parents, please be sure that if you are planning to attend, you sign all forms and send in the proper fees on time. We look forward to seeing you on September 30th as we celebrate this special event!
8. Save the Date! Our Back to School Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17th at 6:30PM! First, Parents will gather in the school hall and then will take part in a Teacher Meet and Greet in each classroom. I am looking forward to seeing you there!
9. The year is off to a beautiful start and I can't wait to see all the amazing things in store for the Padua Panthers! Let's keep shining - just as we always do! Saint Anthony of Padua, please continue to pray for our entire school community!
*Love is Patient, Love is Kind...*
*God Bless You!*
