All books in the St. Anthony Middle/High School library have spine labels - here is a guide that explains more about how to understand them.
Above the spine label, there may be a genre label. This is the type of fiction story the book contains as well as the location in the library where the book is shelved.
At the top of the spine of the book, there may be a bonus label. These labels give more information about the book than just the type of story. They may tell you the language of the book, the format (short stories, verse novel, etc), or provide a content warning.
