Meet Mrs. Dickinson! Merciful, Kind, and Supportive.
My mission is to facilitate excellence in education for all learners by providing an environment that is safe, challenging, and supportive. I celebrate diversity, encourage growth for all learners, and empower each student to go beyond the ordinary-to achieve excellence academically and to put that knowledge into service to others in the global community.
In addition to teaching middle school English Language Arts, I am the Confirmation teacher for St. Ann's Parish, the school adviser for the National Junior Honor Society, Internal Coordinator of our Middle States Strategic Team, Member of the Religion Committee, award-winning teacher of our grade 7 student Gold medalist in the National Scholastic Writing Contest, in which this year we took home thirty-one writing awards and ranked number four in the state of Delaware in writing. Go Mustangs!
I encourage all students to gain a greater understanding of what it means to be a true "disciple" of Christ during good times and also in challenging times. As a devoted Catholic and mother of three, I love activities such as gardening, swimming, and reading great books. My favorite activity is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament with students in church and in the Divine Mercy Chapel on St. Ann's beautiful campus in Wilmington.
Please let me know if you have anyone you would like our prayer team to pray for, to support, and to encourage to follow Jesus every day. We are prayer warriors!
Please join me in advancing the beauty of our Catholic faith by listening to children's and adult prayers on my website: https://www.journeytojesus.net/ .
May you and your family always be protected under the mantle of the Blessed Mother and St. Michael, the archangel.
