Snack: Please bring a healthy, peanut-free, tree nut-free snack each day. No candy of any kind. Thank you.
Water: Water bottles may be kept available in the classroom. Reusable, SPILL-PROOF preferred.
Headphones: Students will be required to use headphone for audiobook use.
Homework: Spelling homework will be based on students' performance on their weekly pre-test (given on Monday).
0-3 incorrect words = no spelling homework for the week
4+ incorrect words = homework Monday-Wednesday
Spelling homework is due Thursday. Students will complete all pretests and homework in the marble spelling book.
Projects: Long-term assignments (ie. book report) will be given specific due dates.
Testing: Weekly testing for Spelling, Grammar, and Reading. Spelling & grammar tests on Thursdays. Reading & vocabulary on Fridays. Religion testing will vary based on completion of chapters.
Cursive Requirement: Final drafts of written assignments (all subjects) & spelling tests will be expected to be completed in cursive handwriting.
