About Me

Welcome to a new school year. I am very excited to be joining the St. Ann's community. I'm looking forward to an exciting year in both 5th grade and the resource room. I can't wait to see how the children grow and learn this year.

This will be my first year at St. Ann's and teaching 5th grade. I'm looking forward to learning with your children. I have previously taught at the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit and Allentown Central Catholic High School. I went to Bloomsburg University for both undergraduate and graduate studies, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and Master of Arts in Special Education. I have my Pennsylvania certification in both Special Education (PreK-12) and Elementary Education (K-6).

I live in Northern Lehigh with my husband, three children, and our dog. I am a member of St. Joseph the Worker in Orefield where my older two children attend school. My youngest son will be joining the St. Ann PreK class this year. I love anything outdoors: hiking, swimming, running, biking. We love to visit all the wonderful trails in the Lehigh Valley.

I look forward to meeting everyone soon and a great school year. Please reach out anytime with any questions or concerns. I would love to hear from you just to say hi as well. Please email me at echarnick@stann-emmaus.org.
