Read below for information related to presenting a poster at the symposium poster session.
The poster session will be primarily in the main event hall (Paul Berg Hall) where the talks are held. To accommodate the many participants, there are also two poster boards in the lobby, where the reception will be.
The poster session and reception are from 4:10 PM to 5:40 PM. Please plan to begin taking down at the end of the poster session.
Each poster has been numbered 1 through 56 on the poster session list. Use the diagram above to locate where your poster should be set up. There will also be numbers pinned to the boards to help identify the poster spots.
Push pins will be provided in a small bucket hanging on each of the poster boards. You will need to set up your poster during one of the breaks (see more info below).
Due to the poster session occuring in the main event hall, posters can be set up during check-in (8:30-9:00 AM), during the morning break (11:15-11:35 AM), lunch (12:00-1:15 PM), or during the afternoon break (2:35-2:55 PM). We strongly encourage you to set up your poster during one of these times rather than at the beginning of the poster session.
Except in special circumstances, no. Please set up your poster in the spot where you were assigned.
Your poster will be available for you to pick up when you check-in at the Check-in Desk. Let the staff there know that you're picking up a poster and they will be able to hand it to you. As a reminder, the poster is yours to keep after the poster session.
If you have any questions or need any assistance, please find Ada Li or Emily Elrod. Both Ada and Emily will be nearby assisting with the poster session.
