Sponsors play a vital role in making this event possible—not only through financial support but also as active members of our thriving community. While the UGIM Symposium occurs only once every two years, the connections and collaborations fostered here last year-round. Why UGIM? Participants include faculty, managers, and technical staff of university, government, and industry research labs across the US - as well as our sponsor exhibitors. Our 2024 symposium hosted ~300 attendees representing over 100 organizations.
This year’s event will feature an expanded global reach, with not only attendees from across the U.S., but also the newly established Global Nano Network, ensuring strong international participation. Additionally, we are planning an adjunct meeting aimed at staff affiliated with Microelectronics Commons Hub facilities, offering further opportunities to connect with stakeholders on CHIPS initiatives.
New for 2026: The exhibit hall will be open to non-conference attendees on an "exhibit-only" basis, aimed at providing you with opportunities to engage local clients, attract new prospects, and expand your professional network. In addition, we will have a vendor showcase featuring lightning talks, where you can share your latest and greatest. We invite you to explore our sponsorship opportunities.
Sponsor UGIM 2026 & Connect with Leading Minds. Join us at the Alumni Center, just 15 minutes' walk from Stanford’s labs (Allen, Spilker, McCullough, Shriram) and a short shuttle ride from SLAC's Quantum Foundry. The conference and exhibit spaces are seamlessly connected on the ground floor (see below), with meals and breaks hosted in the exhibit areas and adjacent breezeway—facilitating an event flow that is perfect for fostering deep technical discussions.

Except for lab tours and the banquet, UGIM 2026 will take place entirely within the Alumni Center on the Stanford campus and conveniently located near the Galvez parking area. UGIM will take place across all the event spaces in the Alumni Center: McCaw Hall, Ford Fountain and Ford Gardens, and the Fisher Conference Center during working hours, plus the Dwight Family Living Room (lobby area) during off-hours. These spaces are all located on the ground floor and accessible through the lobby. Exhibit tables will be set up around the Franklin Fountain and in the Fisher Conference Center.
The Franklin Fountain is accessible directly from the main conference in McCaw through a breezeway covering the exterior exits from McCaw. It is accessible from the Fisher Conference Center through the lobby area. Meals will be catered from the breezeway just outside of McCaw. Shade will be provided for the exhibit tables. Several dozen exhibit tables can comfortably accommodated. 115V power will be available, but limited in capacity to laptops and electronic devices.
Fisher consists of two configurable halls on either side of a central hall. Fisher is located opposite from McCaw Hall, where the main conference will take place, separated by the lobby area. Power is available (115V) and sufficient to accommodate equipment demos. About 20 exhibit tables can be accommodated in Fisher.
Conversation rooms can be made available for private meetings.
