The SPE Lab in the School of Chemical Engineering at JBNU conducts research on the design of sustainable polymer-based electronic and ionic systems, aiming to realize next-generation soft electronic devices and intelligent material platforms.

Based on fundamental understanding of polymer chemistry, nanoscience, electrochemistry, ion transport physics, and materials mechanics, our research focuses on the following areas:

• Design and organic synthesis of solid-state polymeric electrolyte system 

• Modulation & Optimization of polymer-ion interactions for desirable performance

• Development of stimuli-responsive polymer networks for soft ionotronics

• Recyclable and environmentally sustainable polymer electronic materials
