Welcome to
Sustainable Polymer Electronics Lab
The SPE Lab in the School of Chemical Engineering at JBNU conducts research on the design of sustainable polymer-based electronic and ionic systems, aiming to realize next-generation soft electronic devices and intelligent material platforms.
Based on fundamental understanding of polymer chemistry, nanoscience, electrochemistry, ion transport physics, and materials mechanics, our research focuses on the following areas:
Design and organic synthesis of ion-conductive polymers
Development of functional solid electrolytes for soft sensors, energy devices, and actuators
Stimuli-responsive polymer networks and soft ionotronic robotics
Recyclable and environmentally sustainable polymer electronic materials
Recruitment Notice
We are seeking applications for graduate students (M.S./Ph.D.), postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate research interns.
Students from a wide range of backgrounds such as Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and related fields are welcome.
