The SPE Lab in the School of Chemical Engineering at JBNU conducts research on the design of sustainable polymer-based electronic and ionic systems, aiming to realize next-generation soft electronic devices and intelligent material platforms.

Based on fundamental understanding of polymer chemistry, nanoscience, electrochemistry, ion transport physics, and materials mechanics, our research focuses on the following areas:

(1) Design and synthesis of solid-state polymeric electrolyte system

(2) Modulation & Optimization of polymer-ion interactions

(3) Development of stimuli-responsive polymer networks 

(4) Recyclable and environmentally sustainable polymer materials
