I care about making economics more accessible, intuitive, and engaging—especially for audiences new to the field. This page collects visual work I’ve done to communicate economic ideas: from illustrated textbook content to infographics accompanying research summaries.
I illustrated an undergraduate macroeconomics textbook for Indian students—a meaningful project for me as someone who first studied economics in India. The author, Alex M. Thomas was my undergraduate professor, who noticed me doodling in class and invited me to illustrate the book. He gave me complete creative freedom, and it was a joy to bring economics to life visually and reflect the classroom contexts I’d experienced myself. The book is included in the syllabi of universities in India, US, Switzerland
My illustrations have now been translated to Tamil and Hindi!

I wrote a series of articles that aimed to make cutting-edge economics research accessible to a general audience. These pieces were focused on translating complex ideas into engaging, clear narratives without losing the depth of the original work. As part of that effort, I also created accompanying infographics to visually highlight key takeaways. Designing those visuals was a creative way to reinforce the main ideas and make the research more approachable—especially for readers who might not come from an economics background
