Mine Su Erturk

I am a PhD candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Lieberman Fellow at Stanford University.

My research focuses on understanding the interplay between information and networks, using tools from applied probability and optimization. I particularly enjoy modeling and analyzing stochastic and dynamic decision-making problems on networks, where the objective is to protect (e.g., privacy) or extract information (e.g., search and learning).

In summer 2020, I worked at Facebook’s Core Data Science team as a research intern. Prior to joining GSB, I graduated from Bilkent University, in 2017, with a B.Sc. in industrial engineering and a minor in mathematics.
