Norm Robinson, PhD `74, Stanford Tour Manager

Stanford Travel/Study sends a representative along with each tour to assist with the details, leaving you free to enjoy your trip. Norm Robinson earned his PhD in education at Stanford in 1974 and was an important part of the Residential Education staff, which he later led as both the Associate Dean for Residential Affairs and as Acting Dean of Student Affairs. In 1993, he took advantage of the University's early retirement program and was named Associate Dean Emeritus. Since his retirement, he has served at a dozen different Bay Area non-profits as the regular or interim executive director. Norm is one of our most veteran tour managers and has led 70 previous Travel/Study trips, including two for the MLA program. Please let him know if at any time during the trip he can be of assistance to you.

Ali Keskinbicki, Tour Guide

We are fortunate to have Ali, representing our local operator New Faces, to guide us throughout Turkey and assist in managing operations. Ali was born and raised in Ankara and is a graduate of Ankara University. He has been leading tours throughout Turkey for more than 25 years, including numerous trips with Stanford Travel/Study.
