Our partners at the Center for Spacial and Textual Analysis (CESTA) hosted twelve interns this summer and provided student interns with training in Digital Humanities-related skills, such as computational text analysis, spatial analysis, and data visualization, all through hands-on and project-focused research experience to topics related to systemic racist policies in California.
Just 20 minutes from one of the wealthiest enclaves in the United States, the Bayview Hunter's Point community has suffered from systemic racism. We created this storymap to illustrate the intertwined effects compounding the decline of this community.
