I'm Jared Trok, a PhD Candidate in Earth System Science at Stanford University. I am interested in studying the impacts of climate change and land-atmosphere interactions on extreme weather. My current research uses explainable artificial intelligence to gain new insights into these processes.

I am currently a member of the Climate and Earth System Dynamics research group lead by Prof. Noah Diffenbaugh. Prior to 2017, I was at the University of California – Davis studying Atmospheric Science and Applied Mathematics.
