The open exchange of ideas, the freedom of thought and expression, and respectful scientific debate are central to the goals of this workshop. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants. This requires a community that acknowledges and respects the inherent worth of every individual.

Disruption of presentations, discussions, or other workshop activities.
Doxxing or revealing personal information without consent.
This Code of Conduct also applies to:

Encourage Inclusive Language: Foster the use of respectful and inclusive language during presentations and discussions, which will be reviewed in speaker guidelines.
Enable Early Reporting: Offer confidential pre-event channels for participants to report concerns or suggest improvements in inclusion practices.
Mentorship and Networking Etiquette
We value professional relationships built on mutual respect and support. To promote positive interactions:
Mentorship sessions will include clear boundaries and guidance to ensure all participants feel safe and respected.
Networking guidelines will encourage meaningful engagement while respecting others’ time, preferences, and personal boundaries, both in-person and online.
Outcomes
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior must comply immediately. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
A formal warning.
Removal from the workshop, including virtual platforms, without refund.
Restriction from future workshops.
Reporting to the participant’s institution, employer, or funding agency.
Notification of local law enforcement, where necessary.
The response "just joking" will not be accepted as an excuse for inappropriate behavior. An appeals process will be available for participants subject to disciplinary actions.
Reporting
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it:
Email: iclr25haic@gmail.com (response within 24 hours during the event, or two weeks otherwise).
Virtual Tools: Use reporting features available on our chat and Q&A platforms.
In-Person Assistance: Seek help from organizers or volunteers on-site.
All reports will be handled with discretion. We are committed to assisting affected participants, including connecting them with relevant resources, ensuring safe spaces, and addressing concerns promptly.
Commitment to Diversity
This workshop builds on ICLR’s commitment to inclusion by providing additional initiatives:
Tiny Papers Track: Specifically supports underrepresented, underresourced, and early-career researchers, with submissions requiring at least one author who self-identifies as an underrepresented minority.
Travel Grants and Fee Waivers: Financial assistance to overcome barriers to participation.
Hybrid Accessibility: Pre-recorded presentations, live Q&A, and asynchronous discussion forums to ensure global accessibility.
Together, we aim to create a welcoming and respectful space where everyone feels empowered to contribute and learn.
This Code of Conduct is based on the ICLR Code of Conduct, with additional measures reflecting our workshop's unique goals and values. We welcome feedback from participants to further improve this policy.
