Meeting rules and procedures

• We discuss one paper per meeting

• All participants must read the paper ahead of the meeting

• All graduate students must produce a deck of 4 slides covering:

  1. Brief recap of the paper.

  2. What is good about the paper?

  3. How could the paper be improved?

  4. What are potential directions for future research?

• At the onset of the meeting, a graduate student is randomly selected to present their slides and lead the discussion

• All participants are encouraged to engage during the presentation
